Doctor Doom Leak Suit

⚠️Spoiler 🚨 Alert Dr Doom costume suit reveal, allegedly.

The date is April 13 and as of a couple of hours ago, a photo has been circulating the Internet, claiming to be a backstage quick shot of Robert Downey Junior fit testing his costume suit that he will be wearing as Dr Doom in the upcoming movie Avengers Doomsday.

All mixed reviews have been posted and people have been commenting that for once they do not want to see spoilers. They do not want to see behind the scenes images. They don’t want to see on-site location, or paparazzi photographs. Viewers do not want this movie spoiled for them.

This fan culture shift gives me hope that the Marvel fandom is healing and for once is willing to be patient.  Willing to wait for the artist, the actors, the directors, the backstage crew and everyone involved to do what they do best. To do it with enough time to produce the masterpiece movie that we all know they have the talent for.

I am so grateful that the fandom has learned enough to respect these artist and their craft and give them time to deliver us a completely amazing finished product.

I knew she had a difficult childhood—I saw it in her relationship with my grandmother—but she rarely spoke about it. It was a silence I grew up accepting, yet never quite grasping. Then one afternoon, we sat down to watch a movie. I had already seen  Wicked  in English, but when it became available in Spanish on Peacock (shoutout to you, Peacock, for the inclusivity), I decided to play it again, this time for my mom and my sister. I busied myself in the background, making lunch and folding laundry while they immersed themselves in the story. As the film neared its climax—when Elphaba discovers the book of magic—my mother turned to my sister and, with unguarded honesty, said,  This is how I see my life. She rela...
